Today in class I had the honors of reviewing my Landscape with a Corpse story with Christopher. In that process of talking about our stories I had gotten the chance to know him a little. His story’s death was more on the “threatening” side while mine was more “naturalistic”. What I mean by this is his was more to be killed or murdered while my story’s death revolved about a naturalistic death like dying in nature. Aside from that, we had the chance to talk after class. Christopher goes by Chris and he is a 4th year attending CSULB and he’s is graduating next year in the Spring. He is a Computer Engineering major and knows quite a few languages such as C++, Java, and Matlab. He chose to attend CSULB because the engineering programs are great here and the admission was guaranteed for him. I found out we went to the same high school except he is 2 years older than I am but, we were in the same academy! He likes watching anime, and is part of the anime club on campus. He is Filipino and I actually recommended the PAC (Pilipino American Coalition) club to him cause I personally had a lot of fun even though i’m not Filipino. He also registered for the EAT club, which is a computer engineering club but, he doesn’t know if he will be accepted into it, I think he should cause he’s graduating with a degree in that field next spring! When we were taking our pictures for our blog post he pull out a super nice camera which is cool cause i’m into filming and editing videos on youtube. He pulled out a D8750 with some nice lenses which surprised me because i’m a broke college student. It was like watching someone whip out 4 thousand dollars out the back of his pocket and saying yeah lets take a picture. Overall, meeting Chris was a pleasant experience and i’m looking forward to getting to know him better over the semester. I want to congratulate him on his upcoming graduation!
